5 Must-Have Bambu Lab A1/A1 Mini Accessories

Share:

After nearly 3 years and 3,000+ printing hours, my Elego Neptune 4 Pro finally called it quits. With heavy hearts, we moved on to a brand new printer "The Bambu Lab A1".
Great hardware demands great ideas and this legendary printer deserves legendary builds.

Before I go ahead and print anything, let me add some essentials to it. In this video I will show you guys 5 must-have accessories, and all the STL files are free on MakerWorld. The links are provided in the description below. Print these before you print anything else.

1. The first one is the fan cover

Only 6 minutes to print, and it fits like it was made for it. During my testing, I bumped my finger on the fan few times, so this is a real lifesaver. And honestly, it looks absolutely great.

2. Second one is the poop bucket

We all know the A1 series has that "poop" problem.
This compact container catches all the waste from the Bambu Lab A1 and A1 Mini. This thing is super easy to attach and remove. It just snaps on and off in seconds. A larger version is also available, but I think the smaller one is perfect for me.

3. The third one is the A1 Cable Guide

https://makerworld.com/en/models/533092-a1-cable-guide#profileId-449944
Designed specifically for the A1, this Cable Guide solves the annoying cable swinging issue during Z-axis movement. It routes the cable neatly along the printer's side. Best of all, the Tollhead can still move freely up and down without detaching and it has no problems reaching the maximum height.

4. Next is the Scraper Hook for Bambu Bed Scraper

The Bambu Bed Scraper is designed specifically for removing prints from the build plate. I just designed a simple hook for it. Just stick it to your printer with a double-sided tape and hang the scraper right there.

5. Last but not leat I have the Bambu Lab A1 Screen Protector

https://makerworld.com/en/models/1673116-bambu-lab-a1-screen-protecter#profileId-1771736
This is a simple screen protector made specifically for the Bambu A1 or A1 Mini. I added one of the stickers that came with the printer, and honestly, it looks amazing. Everything you need for this build is included in the STL file, even the hinges.

This marks the start of my Bambu journey. If you know any other great accessories, share the links in the comments. See you next time!
